Toron, Hadi*

Hadi Toron is a Syrian national. He is graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Damascus University, and has been painting since the early sixties.

In 1971 he moved to New York City, and from that time until 1989, he exhibited his works in a number of cities in the United States.
He has also participated in many group shows in Europe and the Middle East. His works are owned by many private collectors worlwide.

In 1989, while in assignment with the United Nations in Khartoun, Sudan, Hadi Toron held two major exhibitions reflecting expressions of Sudanese life.
Since his arrival in Trinidad and Tobago, Toron has held a number of "one-man" exhibitions.
His last exhibition in Port Spain, December 2002, was: "Art Works. When You Miss Me I Gone"
